The Chessie Room is part of the old Baltimore and Ohio train station, now called Heritage Station. It is located on the second floor of the old Huntington Bank building, allegedly robbed by the Jesse James gang in 1875. Fact or fiction its our story and we are sticking to it. At Heritage Station you are steps away from a bakery, tap room, and boutique shops. Within three blocks of The Chessie Room are multiple restaurants, the historic Keith Albee Theater, the Marshall Health Arena, Pullman Square, Marshall University Fine Arts Center, and movie theaters - in other words you are in the heart of downtown.
With the help of our friends we have created a suite where we would like to spend time ourselves. Maybe you would too.

♥ The Chessie Room occupies the entire second floor of the old bank building which is located right next to the steam locomotive in Heritage Station. The entrance is in the rear of the building. (Refer to map in Map/Links section)

♥ Cast iron bath tub with claw feet (try carrying one of these up a flight of stairs)!
♥ Entrance is in the rear of the bank building.
♥ Be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs to the second floor (elevator would not be authentic).
♥ Complimentary breakfast is provided by a local restaurant, however it is a three block walk from the Chessie Room so you can work up an appetite.
♥ Parking in Heritage Station parking lot.
